Knit our Pinafore Dress by suitable to fit a baby/toddler from 6 months to 2 years old. 

Design

The Dress has an attractive herringbone pattern with a wavy hemline and moss stitch yoke. The front and back are knitted separately on straight needles and the sides sewn together.  Two buttons are stitched on to the front straps.

Sizes
The pattern includes 4 sizes to fit a child: 6m, 12m, 18m and 24 months old.

Yarn

The pattern uses double-knitting wool. The picture shows the 12-month-old size knitted using Rico Baby Classic DK in shade 025. You will need 2 (3, 3, 4) 50g balls.

Skill

Intermediate.  Written instructions provided.

Tension

22 sts and 30 rows to 10 cm (stocking stitch) on 4 mm needles or size needed to achieve stated tension.

Needles 

Size 4mm (USA 6) needles are required.
