Sizes:

To fit a doll 15-18 inches/38-46 cms or newborn baby.

Yarn:

The main picture shows the outfit knitted using 50 gram balls of Rico Baby Classic DK wool in shades 004 (Rose) and 001 (White).

To knit the complete outfit, you will need 4 balls of Rose and 1 ball of White

Each item knitted separately will need:

Matinee Coat – 1 ball of Rose and 1 ball of White

Shorts – 1 ball of Rose

Bodysuit – 1 ball of Rose and 1 ball of White

Hat – 1 ball of Rose and 1 ball of White

Bootees – 1 ball of Rose

Skill:

Intermediate.  Written instructions provided. 

Tension:

22 sts and 30 rows to 4 inches/10 cm (stocking stitch) on 4 mm needles or size needed to achieve stated tension. 

Needles:

Sizes 3.25 mm and 4.0 mm (USA 3 and 6) straight needles are required.

Other requirements:

4 buttons for the Matinee Jacket.  

4 buttons for the bodysuit. 

Stitch holders and stitch markers. 

Shirring elastic is option for the Shorts.
