Knit our Bobble Edged Dress suitable to fit a baby/child from 3 months to 1 years old.

Design

The Pinafore Dress has an easy to knit pattern. The front and back are knitted separately on straight needles and the sides sewn together.  The bobble hem edging is knitted separately and sewn on. 

Sizes
The pattern includes 2 sizes to fit baby/child: 3-6 and 6-12 months old

Yarn

The pattern uses double knitting wool (an alternative yarn for overseas knitters would be USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply)

The picture shows the 3–6 month-old size knitted using Wendy Supreme Cotton Silk DK in shade 1507 (Spice). You will need 2 (3) x 100 gram balls.

Tension

22 sts and 30 rows to 4 inches/10 cm (stocking stitch) on 4 mm needles or size needed to achieve stated tension. 

Needles 

Sizes 3.25 mm and 4.0 mm (USA 3 and 6) straight needles are required.
